MOSCOW, Aug 25 (PRIME) -- Automaker Skoda plans to start production of Kodiaq sport utility vehicles (SUV) at its Nizhny Novgorod-based facilities in early 2018, it said on Friday.
“Local production has always been a key part of Skoda’s long-term development strategy in Russia. The decision to launch local production of our first large SUV is a great achievement and a serious step for the company’s development on the strategic market,” the company said citing board member Michael Oeljeklaus.
